'Tween Book Club

'Tween Book Club is for kids ages 8-12 from 4-5 pm at the library every second Tuesday of the month. There is no registration for this program.

What do we do in this program?

Mrs. Holly reads a chapter or chapters from a book that each kid will have their own copy of
Each participant can take notes if they choose
Discussion about the reading
Demonstrations, crafts, and snacks will take place, but not at every sitting

Why attend?

The goal of this program is to allow kids to read in a group setting, work on comprehension, collaborate on thoughts about the stories, and learn healthy discussion skills
